CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Unfortunately due to the guidelines we have been given to govern our drive in services on Easter Sunday, we will not be able to take communion together at Easter Services.

I want to encourage you to take communion either Saturday evening or Sunday morning before coming to church.
What you will need:
Your Bible
A small cup of grape juice if you have it. If not any liquid will do. What it symbolized is what matters not what liquid is in the cup.
A small piece of bread or cracker for each person taking communion.

Step 1: First Read this passage from the Bible out loud.
1 Corinthians 11:23-24 For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
Step 2: After reading this scripture say a prayer thanking Jesus that His body was broken for us.
Step 3: Each person should eat their piece of bread.
Step 4: Read this passage from the Bible out loud.
1 Corinthians 11:25-26
25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.
Step 5: After reading this scripture say a prayer thanking Jesus for the New Covenant between God and us confirmed by His blood that was shed for us.
Step 6: Each person should take a drink from the cup.
Step 7: Thank God for His gift of Salvation and promise that you will remember the death of Jesus and His sacrifice on your behalf until He comes again.
