Our Lead Pastor, Scott Mathis, and his wife Diane, live north of Mitchell. They have 2 adult children. God called them off the ranch and into the ministry in July of 1992. Pastor Scott has been a cowboy all of his life, so he has a real passion in reaching out to the agricultural community. As the leader of the leaders, Pastor Scott provides visionary focus and public proclamation of the Word of God.
Diane serves full time as Office Administrator and oversees the day to day church operations and administration including church communications (print, media, internet) and office management. She also meets with women and oversees the Women's Life Groups. She began serving in this capacity in 1993.
Scott and Diane both love the ministry the Lord has place them in, and they feel privileged to serve the Lord in this way. Their hearts and their home are always open to you!
Our Executive Pastor, Giles Armstrong, and his wife Angel, live east of Mitchell and have 3 children. They came on staff in August, 2005. Giles administrates staff, provides various counseling and shepherding of our young families, and administrates daily operations in accomplshing our church mission. He also preaches once a month.
Angel serves as Children's Ministry Coordinator. She provides spiritual leadership by recruiting, training & equipping Nursery and Children's Church Workers and K - 6th Grade Awana Leaders. She also oversees Vacation Bible School.

Our Senior Saints/Singles & Site Pastor, Doug Keener, and his wife Vicki, live northeast of Mitchell. They have 3 grown children. Doug and Vicki have been actively involved in the church for 30+ years. In 2000, they felt God's call upon their lives to full time vocational ministry. Pastor Doug provides spiritual leadership by helping shepherd the Senior Saints and Singles and recruiting & training their Life Group Leaders. He also provides oversight of scheduling and general maintenance of the Worship Center.
Vicki, serves part time as Senior Saints/Singles & Site Pastor's Assistant and assists Doug with the administrative tasks of shepherding the senior saints/singles and overseeing the building.
Lyndsay serves part time as Worship Coordinator. Lyndsay came on staff in 2000. Her duties include planning the music and leading the various Worship Teams on a weekly basis. The Lord has blessed Lyndsay with incredible music abilities, but more importantly, a heart of worship. She desires to see our body grow in the area of praise and worship of our Lord.
Our Finance Manager, Pat Correll, provides the accounting activities for Mitchell Berean Church including the payment of expenditures, the maintenance of the financial records and the monthly finance reporting to the Elder's. She also works closely with the Treasurer, Dave Powell and Lead Pastor, Scott Mathis. If you have any questions concerning your giving, please contact her.
Our Administrative Assistant, Jaci Aue volunteers her time to assist Diane with the administrative tasks that occur from day to day.
